Ronald McDonald Houses

A Home Away from Home for Families

With over 22 years of service, we are honored to offer families a place to sleep, eat and relax while their child receives medical treatment at a local hospital. The Ronald McDonald House is more than a hotel – it is a place where families gain love, support and understanding- it is a home away from home.

Two Houses serve families coming to Salt Lake City – both are minutes from area hospitals. Shuttle services are provided to families and both Houses are centrally located to public transportation lines for a quick trip to area hospitals.

The cost of housing families is approximately $74 per night. Families are asked to share in the cost of their stay by contributing $15 per night; however, their extensive medical expenses often preclude even this modest amount. No family is ever turned away due to the inability to pay.
